Mike McIntyre is one of the authors or University Matters, a guide book for helping students get through University. Theauthors have collectively either attended or taught at eight different Canadian universities. So to some extent, University Matters is a “been there – done that” story. Having said this, the authors’ respective experiences at university have varied widely. University students surround Sharron and Mike. Their daughter recently graduated from The University of Toronto and one son and four nieces are currently studying at McGill, University of New Brunswick and Carleton. Despite the authors’ different university lifestyles, they all agree that the university years are a terrific adventure full of personal, social, and intellectual growth. Charline Cormier-Pellerin has always been creative.  Even as a child, she could be found fashioning Barbie doll dresses out of toilet paper or making her very own paper dolls.  But being a stay-at-home mom in a one vehicle family for eleven years has, at times, really put her creativity to the test.  Always looking for cheap or easy entertainment for her four children, she loves finding alternatives to the usual high costing and sometimes complicated activities available today; and then sharing her thoughts and findings with other moms. Charline writes weekly columns for www.breadnmolasses.com and http://thisweek.canadaeast.com/
