I Love the family organizer!! My life and that of my family would be chaotic without it. My kids are now at ages where they can put the stickers of their events on the calendar to help us all know when an activity is. I have used this calendar for I believe 7 yrs maybe even 8, highly recommend it to all families, it helps keep planning stress free!!

Thanks

My main thought about all this crazy holiday rushing is that there sure are a lot of wonderful things about the holidays but it is a shame it is all crammed into one busy month. A person could go insane. What about spreading things out a bit? Collect coats for charity in October. Send New Year's cards in January. It really is hard for one mom with multiple small children to accomplish all of this with little or no help in the motivation and execution of these activities. I don't mean to sound scroogey, but we might be able to enjoy the moment more if there were a few less results-oriented lists to keep checking!

A friend and I worked on our December schedules/to do lists together and are calling or emailing to keep each other accountable and celebrate what we get done! I think we might live through the month and actually enjoy ourselves a little bit. :)

Reading your post made me feel somewhat relieved that I wasn't the only one who had these same feelings. This year, I also made a promise to shop for stocking stuffers ahead of time instead of running into the nearest CVS and find what was left on the nearly naked shelves!! And Christmas cards! Don't even get me started. We're a military family and move often, so I'm told by the more senior members of our family that my "newsletters" are treasured, however, I think everyone else is bored, despite my attempts at livening them up (crossword puzzle one year, a note from the dog the next, etc.). My husband insists that I keep up this tradition, but I just can't find the time (or the heart). Like you wrote in the post, I enjoy receiving them, too, so I guess that makes up my mind for me. Thanks for the info and a great calendar (which I live by!!).

I began to 'panic' when I realized that the MTM calendars were sold out at Costco. After using your calendar for several years I wondered how our family of five would do without it. We wouldn't! We couldn't! After going on line I found out that Shoppers Drug Mart also carries them. Well, not ever Shoppers! By the time I actually got my hands on one, I was relieved to say the least. The large spaces give all of us room to write and highlight in different colors. Everyone knows that mom is "orange" and gets the bottom line of each day. I have returned the "make due" calendar with much joy! )
Now that I have printed off my Christmas Countdown, I must be off to replace the everyday knickknacks with Christmas decor. Thank you for helping us mom's stay on top of it all:

I have loved using the MTM wall calendar over the years, and it's always helped us stay organized, especially during the holidays. My youngest is now at university and credits her good organization to seeing the benefits using an effectively designed calendar. Thanks!

Your article made me laugh out loud! It also helped me to think about all the little things I am not prepared for these holidays! I am a scatter brain and More Time Moms helps me soooo much! I have the calendar, cookbook and organizer on my Christmas wish list. Hopefully my husband and kids will suprise me. I am keeping my fingers crossed so I can keep my life, family, meals and business all organized in one space! Keep up the good work ladies and Merry Christmas!
